About The Event
The Iowa Latino Center, in conjunction with Iowa DNR, City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation, and Iowa State University Extension, provide fishing education and water safety training to Latino families through the promotion of Des Moines area park use. The program builds on several key opportunities within the Des Moines area surrounding fishing, waterways, and park use.
This program is possible due to a grant provided by the George H.W. Bush Vamos A Pescar™ Education Fund.
